There is no general admission fee this year but a $10 wristband is required to participate in the activities. We do ask that all minors be accompanied by an adult. There will be carnival games, inflatables, a cake walk, a silent disco and more! There will also be an amazing performance by our advanced orchestra, 6th grade intermediate band, and advance band.

Straw Hat Pizza, Dad’s BBQ, Menchie’s and Gathering Grounds will also be available for purchase. If you are interested in helping our PTO with the event, please sign up at https://m.signupgenius.com/#!/showSignUp/10C0D4BA4A82CA5F5C43-orchard1 or email them at

The PTO is also asking for candy donations for the event. They ask the peanut free candy be dropped off in the main office, up until the 27th. Please make sure they are clearly labeled that they are donations for fall fest. They are also asking for baked goods to be donated for the cake walk. They ask that those be dropped off only the 26th and 27th to ensure they stay fresh. Baked goods must be store bought and individually wrapped.

The application window will open in Aeries October 23rd and will run through December 1st. There will be two parent information nights: October 24th at DVHS 6-7pm, and October 26th at AHS 6-7pm. Parking Lot Drop Off and Pick Up Reminders

1. The parking lot entrance is the one by the marquee and the exit is the one by the multiuse room. Please do not enter or exit in the wrong driveways.

2. If you would like to park and walk up to meet your child after school, please use a parking space.

3. If you would like to park and wait with your child before school, please use a parking space.

4. The curb area along the loop is for drop off and pick up. This is not a parking area. You cannot leave your car unattended here.

5. Neither lane in the loop is a place to park, especially the passing lane. Please do not park and block everyone behind you.

6. Please pull up to keep the flow of traffic moving.

7. Do not double park and allow your child to run across the parking lot to get to class or call your child to run across the parking lot to get to your car or park across the street and have your child run across traffic. These are both safety issues.

8. If a staff member asks you to pull up or move your car, please do so. They are doing this for either the safety of the students or to keep the flow of traffic moving.

9. Please do not speed through the parking lot for the safety of our students, staff, and families.

10. School drop off and pick up times are busy at any school. Expect the process to be a little time consuming.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Morning and After School Routine Reminders for Students and Families

  • All elementary students arriving between 7:50 and 8:00 AM should go directly to the playground.
  • Middle school students who arrive before 7:50 should wait at the picnic table area outside the cafeteria.
  • All bikes, scooters, skateboards are to be walked at all times on campus.
  • Breakfast is served in the cafeteria daily from 7:30-8:00.

After School Pick-Up Routine:

Formal supervision ends 15 minutes after the dismissal bell rings. Please be on-time to pick up your student because staff has meetings and other duties to attend after school lets out.

· Kindergarten: Top of the Loop in front of the Kindergarten Classroom

· 1-3 Grades: Loading zone adjacent to Primary Loop/Main Office

· 4-8 Grades: Loading zone adjacent to Multi use room/Library

Elementary and Middle School siblings should meet at the lunch tables outside the cafeteria and be picked up at the older siblings pick up area. Elementary and middle school students are not to wait outside siblings classrooms.

For the safety of students and staff, all AUSD campuses are closed campuses. Therefore, parents/guardians will need to say their morning goodbyes at the gate and/or wait at the gate for pick-ups.
