Ashland Preschool Update

October 31st , 2025
Dear Pittaway Families,
As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of all students, all schools will be conducting a practice stay in place drill. The Pittaway School’s drill will take place on November 3rd.
Stay in Place is used for situations when there is not an immediate threat to building safety, such as medical emergencies. It is not a lockdown. Movement is not allowed between classrooms, but classroom instruction can continue. This drill is an essential part of our safety protocol to prepare students and staff for an emergency situation. The Ashland Police and Fire Departments will assist us during our drill.
Please visit ashland.k12.ma.us/safety for frequently asked questions about ALICE and tips to support your child before and after a safety drill.
Please be assured that these drills are essential for helping students understand what to do in an emergency and will be conducted in a controlled and supportive environment. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Dr. Michael Caira, Safety Committee Chair, at 508-881-0150.
Thank you for your continued support as we work together to keep our students safe.
Have a wonderful weekend,
Amanda
⏰Donna Lowell Is Off The Clock⏰
This week we celebrated Donna with a farewell dance party with the students on Monday afternoon, and a final staff photo on Thursday for her last day. Donna is officially off the clock and beach bound.
