Welcome to St. John's, Mrs. Selph
We are very pleased to welcome Mrs. Sarah Selph to St. John's School. Mrs. Selph will be joining us as our new, full-time, 5th-grade teacher this August.
Mrs. Selph and her husband have recently relocated to Denver from Hawaii, where she spent the last nine years as a 5th-grade teacher and Elementary Division Head at Saint Mark Lutheran School and Emmanuel Lutheran School. She brings strong teaching knowledge and expertise, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership. She comes enthusiastically praised and highly recommended by her previous Principal and Pastor, and I have found Mrs. Selph to be very kind, caring, and personable.
Bringing Mrs. Selph onto our team is a strategic move that allows Mrs. Lohmann to fully step into her leadership role as the Director of Teaching and Learning. In this position, Mrs. Lohmann will be hands-on in all K–8 classrooms, providing the coaching and mentoring necessary to ensure consistent classroom excellence, and driving our Graduate Promise: Excel in Education.
2026-2027 Annual Parent Night
We are excited to welcome all St. John's families to our Annual Parent Night on Wednesday, August 19, at 6:30 p.m. This was previously scheduled for August 26.
This evening is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a school community as we prepare for the new school year. We will share important information for the year ahead, highlight insights and improvements made in response to last year's parent survey, and discuss the vision for St. John's School and the direction we are heading as we continue to grow and strengthen our mission to Grow, Excel, Thrive.
Whether you are new to St. John's or a returning family, Parent Night is an important opportunity to stay informed, ask questions, and partner with us in making this a successful school year for every student.
We look forward to seeing you there!
