Congratulations to our September Narwhals of the Month! Each teacher selected a student from their homeroom who consistently modeled being safe, respectful, and responsible among their peers. We celebrated their accomplishments with donuts for breakfast on October 1st. Our 3rd annual campus F-U-Ndraiser is coming soon. No later than October 22nd you will begin receiving information and instructions about how students will request donations connected to a "Nar-walk" we will conduct on November 4th. Our returning vendor is Booster. We will set up the walk on our gravel track that is adjacent to the south side of the building. Students will collect pledges of donations for the number of minutes walked during their grade level's portion of the "Nar-walk". Our campus goal is to raise $30,000 (we raised $26,000 last year). We will use the funds to pay for academic products that have annual subscriptions as well as other instructional support items.

The Hidden Lake staff and students invite you to our Veterans’ Day Ceremony in our cafeteria honoring the time, service, and sacrifice that the men and women of our military have given to our country. After our program we will honor our veterans and their families by providing a light breakfast in our Community Room and a small token of our appreciation. We also are asking for donations of food to serve at the breakfast.

We are asking parents to donate food through Sign-Up Genius. Click on the image embedded here to access the website. We will soon distribute another form you will use to 'RSVP' that you are attending as an honoree so that we can arrange logistics. We look forward to recognizing our community members for their commitment and patriotism.

You can sign up as a volunteer to help students redeem their Narwhal Bucks for different kinds of fun stuff!!

Redemption Store for Narwhal Bucks Earned by Students

Narwhal Bucks are distributed to acknowledge students for making good choices, following expectations, and excelling at school. We have created a redemption cart and stocked it with various items, but we will need your help with continually stocking the store with kid-favorite items. Students will have at least one opportunity per month to redeem the bucks that they earn.

Parents, please consider volunteering to help our Specials teachers run the store in the Gym from 7:05 to 7:40. We typically do this on the last Friday of each month (next date is October 31st) unless that day is a student holiday. You would assist students with purchasing items with their Bucks.

Any donations can be dropped off in the front office or given directly to your student's classroom teacher.

You may send cupcakes, goodie-bag, or invitations.

We do not allow birthday parties with themed decorations, balloons, activities, etc. Students can accept goodie bags and/or food items in recognition of a birthday. Birthday invitations also may be distributed by a student as long as there is an invitation for every child (district policy) in the homeroom class. Parents are prohibited from sending celebratory items (i.e. large balloons) that would distract from instructional practices.
