Thank You!

I'd like give a HUGE shout-out to all of our LECC staff for their response to this Monday's storm. It was exceptional. Our teachers and support staff remained calm and focused. Student safety was, and always is, our top priority. Their dedication and quick thinking reflect the incredible care they have for every child in our building.

I'd also like to extend my sincere gratitude to our parents and families for their patience, trust, and cooperation throughout this event. I understand how difficult it is to wait during an emergency situation involving your children, and I truly appreciate the respect shown toward the safety procedures and processes that are in place. Your support allowed our staff, staff from other buildings and emergency personnel to focus on ensuring the safety of all students.

LECC is incredibly fortunate to have such caring staff members, supportive families, and a strong community. Moments like these remind us of the strength we have when we work together.

Moving Forward...

Thank you for your continued patience and flexibility as we navigate what the end of the year looks like at LECC. At this time, the district is actively working with inspectors, contractors, insurance representatives, and state officials to thoroughly assess the building and determine when it is safe for students to return. This takes time. Not only is the structural integrity of the building important, but we are also considering things such as air quality.

The safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority. While we understand the uncertainty can be challenging for families, we want to assure you that every decision being made is centered around ensuring a safe learning environment for all.

We are committed to communicating updates as timely as possible. Thank you again for your support, cooperation, and trust during this process.
