Dear Smith Stallion Parents and Students,
It is Testing Week next week for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Students! They have worked so hard and are ready! Ask your child about the fun assembly we had today! Each student will have the opportunity to select a prize from the “Prize Cart” for completing and following the expectations for test taking. They are ready! GO STALLIONS, SHOW THEM WHAT YOU KNOW! Reminder: Students need to arrive at school each day on time to have a great start to the test each morning.
Our PTA Fundraiser was a great success!! Thank you to everyone who had the opportunity to participate. We appreciate your support as we work towards a new digital sign for our school. The student dance party for students that sold items or donated money will be Friday, May 6, 2022 during the school day.
TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK
Teacher Appreciation Week is almost here! We will be celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week May 2nd-6th. We will be holding daily drawings throughout the week for our wonderful teachers and staff. If you would like to donate gift cards, small items, candy, or make a donation towards the drawing, please send it to the office marked Teacher Appreciation Week (include your name so we know who to thank). We have an incredible faculty and staff and we want to shower them with appreciation that week.
PTA FAMILY GLOW DANCE---SAVE THE DATE
PTA Family Glow Dance--complete with a real DJ and blacklights--is coming soon! It is going to be a fun event to celebrate the school year! Mark your calendars now: Friday, May 20th from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The cost for admission to the dance will be $5.00 per student. This is a family dance. All students must have at least one parent or adult with them at the dance. Students cannot be dropped off at the dance without a parent or adult. There will be snacks, drinks, and “Glow in the Dark” items for sale. MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW AND JOIN THE FUN!!!!!
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION:
Kindergarten Registration for next year continues. If you haven't already, please register online at http://www.sdale.org/page/enroll. If you need assistance registering, please come to school and we will be happy to help you register your child for Kindergarten. If your child is currently enrolled in the Springdale Public Schools Pre-K, you do not need to complete the registration online. Your child is already registered for Kindergarten. Please do not hesitate to call the office for assistance.
