January 2025
December Students of the Month 🌟🏆
We are so excited to partner with the PTA to continue the PRMS tradition of Student of the Month!
This year we are incorporating the PBSIS acronym FAIR (Flexible, Accountable, Inclusive, Responsible). Each month we will highlight one of the four character traits and we'll recognize students across all grade levels who exhibit this trait.
🎉 CONGRATULATIONS 🎉
to the students who were recognized for demonstrating our December trait, Responsible! We are so proud of you and grateful for the example you set for your peers!
Special thanks to our PTA and Starbucks for their support in making this month extra special for our students!
Coming Up:
The trait for January is * Flexible*
This month we'll be on the lookout for students who demonstrate flexibility. Flexibility looks like being open to new ideas, adapting to change, and handling challenges with resilience. Flexible students are willing to learn, try new things, and adjust to different social situations. They handle mistakes well, are creative problem-solvers, and can shift their goals and interests as they grow. They are also good at navigating conflicts, exploring new experiences, and reflecting on their personal growth. Overall, flexibility helps us adapt to the ups and downs of life.
Pond Road Pep Rally! 🎉🎊
Before the winter break, Pond was buzzing with positive energy during our Winter Spirit Week pep rally! The event featured challenging relay games, dazzling dance and theater performances, and a lively rock-paper-scissor contest. We also introduced our winter sports teams who were met with cheers and applause from peers, setting the athletes up for what is sure to be a fantastic season (go Knights!) The gym was filled with joy and laughter as the students and teachers came together to showcase teamwork, talent, and enthusiasm. It was a day to remember, reminding us all of the power of unity (and fun!)
