What's Blooming@ ColumbineSeptember 2025 - Columbine Elementary

Happy September Everyone!

Dear Columbine Parents and Families,

It has been my pleasure to welcome your children and get to know them over the first several days of the 2025-2026 school year! They have jumped right in to classroom and building routines, new connections, higher expectations, and learning what it takes to be successful in the coming year. Your encouragement and support are crucial as students transition from summer to school. In order to be successful, it is important for you to be familiar with the Columbine Parent/Student handbook - access it in the link below, and review it's contents with your child. This will help us all start strong as we navigate the beginning of a new year.

There are many exciting events happening this month at Columbine! Please read on to learn more about how to be involved in these opportunities! I am confident this will be a great school year with the outstanding group of staff and students we have here at Columbine! Here is to a fantastic September!

If you are interested in volunteering to help out during the school day or with one of our special events, you must first complete a Woodland Park School District Volunteer Application and Confidentiality Agreement. Every family received a volunteer application in the welcome packet at Back to School Night. Applications are also available in our main office. All applications will undergo a general background check prior to approval. Once the district approves your application, you will be invited to connect with teachers to find a place to serve. We are so grateful for our Columbine volunteers and the value you add to our students' school experiences. Please contact Mrs. Seabolt if you have any questions.

DAC/SAC Volunteer Applications DAC/SAC Volunteer Applications

Each year, the WPSD District Accountability committee and the Columbine Elementary School Accountability Committee invite interested volunteers to apply to serve on each advisory board. If you served last year, you will need to reapply. Click here for more information and to apply!
