March 29th
Dear Audubon Families,
We are heading into a busy and exciting final four days before Spring Break!
Students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will be completing important learning checks each morning from 8:00–10:00 AM as they prepare for upcoming KSA testing. We appreciate your support in ensuring students are present, on time, and ready to do their best.
On Wednesday, April 1, students who participated in the World’s Finest Chocolate fundraiser and turned in all of their money will receive their earned prizes:
- 1 box sold: Glow Party
- 2 boxes sold: Picnic at the Park
- 3 boxes sold: Limo Ride
We are also looking forward to our Variety Show on Thursday, April 2:
- Grades K–2: 8:30–9:45 AM
- Grades 3–5: 12:45–2:00 PM
In addition, Career Day for grades 3–5 will take place on Thursday, April 2 from 8:30–10:00 AM. This is a great opportunity for students to learn about a variety of careers and begin thinking about their futures.
We’re excited to welcome back Kona Ice on Thursday, April 2 as well! Please remember that this is a pre-pay only event, and all payments must be submitted by 5:00 PM on April 1.
Thank you for your continued support as we wrap up this busy week. We are looking forward to a strong finish before Spring Break!
There will be no school beginning on Friday, April 3rd. Students will return to school on Monday, April 13th.
If you know your student will be attending another elementary school next year, please let us know by emailing aesinfo@dcps.org or sending us a TalkingPoints message.
Thank you for your continued support of Audubon Elementary!
