WHAT Wellness Center

With cold and flu season upon us, the Hanover Wellness Center (WHAT Clinic), in partnership with Coastal Horizons, has strep, flu, and COVID testing available for students who are not feeling well and are enrolled to receive services at the Wellness Center. WHAT will also have flu vaccines available for enrolled students who are 18 and under and have Medicaid insurance or are uninsured. If you would like more information about how to enroll your student in case they get sick throughout the school year or would like to inquire about scheduling a flu vaccine appointment, please email HanoverWellnessCenter@coastalhorizons.org or call (910) 763-4988.

Cell Phone Policy

Students and parents, please remember that students are required to give up their cell phones when they enter the classroom. It is state law that cell phones are not to be used by students during instructional time. This includes when students leave the classroom to go to the restroom or to go to another location in the building. Parents, please reinforce with your students that if cell phones, air pods or other devices are used during the school day they will be confiscated and students will receive consequences. We want your students to be focused on learning and not their devices at school.

Classrooms, Hallways, and Parking Lots Off Limits during Lunch

Students, please remember that classrooms, hallways, and parking lots are off limits during lunch periods. Students are to report to the cafeteria during lunch.
