All students will complete the writing portion of our General Summative Assessment Wednesday, March 6. We look forward to seeing the hard work our students and teachers have put into Power Writing! Our students have been learning to expand their writing using details, trying to hook their readers. Here's to a successful testing day!
Please remember to have your child in school and ON TIME. This is important everyday! Be sure students go to bed at a reasonable time the night before and are ready for their bus in the morning! If students are late, they miss the 'getting settled' time in our day, which includes breakfast, preparation of materials and our Social Emotional Learning block for all classes. Every minute counts!
We currently have a March Madness competition within each grade level - tracking iReady math time. Ask your child if they are in the 'sweet spot' for reading and math each week. (30-49 min range). We're excited to see how the competition rolls out and which homerooms earn rewards. Stay tuned for updates!
The end of the 3rd quarter is almost here! Be sure to check Schoology and encourage your child to turn in all work. If you need assistance with Schoology, please be sure to reach out!
