Fall for Ross!

Our annual Fall for Ross fundraiser is off to an incredible start! In less than three weeks, you’ve already helped raise nearly $24,000, bringing us close to the halfway point of our $50,000 goal. Thank you to the 40+ families that have given!
But we’re not there yet—and every dollar counts toward making Ross a stronger, more vibrant school for our kids.
The PTA invests more than $100,000 each year to cover critical school expenses that directly touch your child’s daily experience, from classroom resources to community events. Your gift makes an immediate difference:

$25 → two gallons of hand soap to keep our students healthy

$50 → a uniform for one of our hardworking custodians

$100 → professional development for a teacher

$300 → playground and garden refresh supplies

$600 → half the cost of a bus for a field trip

$1,200 → three iPads for our classrooms
Every contribution, big or small, strengthens Ross. While we encourage families to consider a monthly pledge of $50 ($600 annually) or an annual contribution of $600, we know not every family can give at that level. What matters most is that everyone participates—because together, we ensure that Ross remains a place where every student thrives.
Your donations allow the PTA to:
✅ Offset school operating costs and boost staffing beyond the DCPS budget
✅ Cover essential curriculum needs
✅ Support teachers and staff with resources and training
✅ Guarantee that every student can join field trips and activities, regardless of family finances
✅ Host events that build the Ross community
And don’t forget: All classes with 100% participation—or the class with the highest participation rate—will win a popsicle party and extra recess!
