Please take a few minutes to read through this month’s newsletter for important reminders, upcoming events, and some of the great things happening around WHS. We hope you’ll take a look, stay connected, and join us in celebrating all that makes Wall High School such a great place to be.

New Option for Reporting Student Absences: Genesis Parent Portal
We are pleased to offer parents and guardians a new, convenient way to notify your child's school when your student will be absent or tardy: the Notify Attendance Office feature within the Genesis Parent Portal. This is an additional option available to you. You may continue to notify the attendance office by phone or email as you have done in the prior school year.
As always, parents/guardians are still required to notify the school office by the start of the school day for any absence or tardy. Reporting through Genesis satisfies this requirement. The link below provides directions with screenshots to walk you through this new feature.

Unified Sports
On October 2, 2026, Wall High School hosted a Unified Flag Football game, welcoming Rumson-Fair Haven High School to compete on the school’s new turf field. The installation of the turf field made it possible for Wall to host this exciting event on its home field. The game was paired with a Welcome Back Picnic, bringing together athletes, fans, staff, and the school community for a celebration of teamwork, friendship, and inclusion.
Unified Sports, a Special Olympics program, promotes inclusion by bringing students with and without intellectual disabilities together to train and compete as teammates. Through shared sports experiences, Unified Sports builds friendships, encourages acceptance, and demonstrates that everyone deserves the opportunity to participate, belong, and be included.
The event marked an exciting milestone for Wall High School’s Unified program and celebrated the power of bringing people together through sports.
As part of their senior service project, the Class of 2027 is hosting a Trunk or Treat event on Tuesday, October 20th from 5:00–7:00 PM in the WHS parking lot, in partnership with the PTO. This event is all about bringing the Wall High School and Wall Township community together for a safe, festive evening of trick-or-treating. We invite the whole Wall Township community, including families, neighbors, and friends, to come out, enjoy the fun, and support our seniors as they give back through this project!
Join Wall High School Unified at the SONJ Thanksgiving Dash & Splash!
Join us on November 14 in Asbury Park to support Wall High School’s Unified team at the Special Olympics New Jersey Thanksgiving Dash & Splash! Half of all funds raised will directly benefit the Wall High School Unified program, which promotes inclusion by bringing students with and without intellectual disabilities together through sports, friendship, and shared experiences. Our mission is to move beyond acceptance to true inclusion, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate, belong, and thrive.
Can't donate? You can still make a difference! We encourage students, staff, families, and community members to come out and cheer on Team Wall! Your support and school spirit mean just as much.

Lunch Information
Message Regarding Doordash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, etc.
Please be advised, WHS will not accept food deliveries from services such as DoorDash, Grubhub, Uber Eats, etc. for students in our school. While we understand the convenience these services provide, they create significant disruptions within our main office. More importantly, allowing outside food/lunch deliveries raises concerns about the safety and security of our students and staff.
Please note: Parents and guardians are still permitted to drop off lunch for students who may have forgotten their meals. However, we ask that you coordinate these drop-offs directly through our main office to ensure a smooth process.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we prioritize the well-being and security of our school community.
Mr. Davis
