Leadership Announcement
Danyelle Thomas, Title I-C Program Administrator

Dear MESD Community,
We are pleased to welcome Danyelle R. Thomas as the new Title I-C Program Administrator at Multnomah Education Service District. Danyelle joined MESD last week and brings more than a decade of experience serving multilingual learners, migrant students, and diverse school communities both in Oregon and internationally.
ㅤ
Throughout her career, Danyelle has been dedicated to advancing educational opportunities for multilingual and migrant students. Her experience includes leadership roles in Forest Grove School District, where she served as an assistant principal and Migrant Summer School principal, as well as educational leadership and teaching positions in Oregon and Ecuador. She has led dual language programs, supported English language development, and worked to create equitable learning opportunities for all students.
"I have dedicated my career to multilingual and migrant education on two continents, and I am humbled and honored that this experience has landed me at Multnomah ESD," said Danyelle R. Thomas.
Danyelle earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Moreland University and recently completed the School Management and Leadership certificate program through Harvard University. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is deeply committed to supporting students, families, and educators.
Outside of work, Danyelle enjoys spending time with her husband, Juan, and their three children. As a family, they love exploring the outdoors, whether that means spending a day at the beach, hiking through the woods, or discovering new places together. Danyelle also enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures and communities. No matter where their adventures take them, Oregon remains home, where she and her family have built their life and put down roots.
Please join us in welcoming Danyelle to MESD and the Title I-C team.
Sincerely,
Sascha Perrins
Assistant Superintendent
