TCU Le Center K8 March News
2025
Dear TCU Le Center Families
As we step into March, we celebrate the growth, learning, and achievements of our students. This time of year brings new opportunities for engagement, collaboration, and success. We are especially proud of our Titans for displaying excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities. From outstanding performances in competitions to impressive achievements in the classroom, our students continue to shine as leaders, scholars, and role models.
Additionally, our behavioral data shows great progress, and it’s inspiring to see our students consistently practicing and demonstrating Titan PRIDE in their daily actions. Their commitment to building a positive and supportive school culture is truly commendable!
However, we have noticed a dip in attendance due to illness, and we want to remind families how important it is for students to be at school as much as possible. Every day of learning counts, and when students are present, they have the best opportunity to succeed academically and socially. Of course, if your child is sick, we understand the need to keep them home to rest, but we appreciate your efforts in ensuring they return as soon as they are well.
Spring is just around the corner, bringing a renewed sense of energy and excitement for all that lies ahead. Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community—we couldn’t do it without you!
Sincerely,
Mr. Jeff Eppen, Principal
ALL STAR CHOIR DAY
Four of our Le Center Sixth Grade singers joined a choir of 180 fourth, fifth, and sixth graders from across the state for the second annual All Star Elementary Choir Concert!! Gohan Ruiz, Christopher Traxler, Jaylynn Perez, and Cori Krenik have been practicing music since December. They spent the day of the concert rehearsing before performing for a packed audience at the Minneapolis Convention Center. It was an amazing day with phenomenal singers from across the region that ended with an incredible concert! Way to go singers!!! Thank you for all of your hard work!!!
GEOGRAPHY BEE
Middle School students chose to participate in a Geography Bee at our Talent Show this year. In order to join the team, students had to pass a quiz based on the geographic themes covered in the Bee. Then, they assigned each other topics in geography to study. Participating students joined Ms. Bauernfeind on stage to show their skills to the school! This was a fun competition amongst their grades and students are already talking about the next Geography Bee!
In the end, our 8th grade students came out on top!
7th grade students who participated: Juan Rosales, Paul Juarez, GioRuiz, and Nolan O’Malley.
8th grade students who participated: Rhys Risto, Jackson Schley, Brady Hunt, Colton Dorweiler, and Daniel Mendez.
MOUNT KATO TRIP
Our 5th - 8th Graders enjoyed a beautiful day out on the slopes at Mount Kato. Thank you to all the staff members who chaperoned and made the outing possible!

Students and Staff had fun celebrating I Love to Read Month in February!
TCU ROBOTICS
Our TCU Robotics Club had an awesome two days at the State tournament. There were many teams there, and it was a great experience for all of our students. This year, we had 2 middle school teams and 1 high school team representing TCU; GearTrain, The Distructicons and The Duckinators. Team Duckinators is composed of Wesley Power, Isabella Keltgen, Daniel Mendez, Paul Juarez, Jazmin Chacon, and Faith Pedroza. The Duckinators had a great time continuing to grow and learn at the state tournament. They ended their season in 51st place at the tournament. We are very proud of how hard they worked this year and how they represented our school and district.

MORNING DROP OFF
Ensuring a smooth and safe drop-off experience for all families is one of our priorities. To improve efficiency during morning drop-off, we would like to remind you of some important guidelines.
Drop-Off Procedure Updates:
- Unload along the yellow curb: Once your vehicle stops anywhere along the yellow curb, your student should exit the vehicle. There is no need to wait until your car is directly in front of the main entrance. This allows the line to move steadily for everyone.
- Adults- stay in your vehicle: To keep the process moving efficiently, we kindly ask that parents and guardians remain in their vehicles at all times.
- Need extra time? If your student requires additional assistance from you, please park in a designated parking spot and walk them to the curb when you are ready!
Following these procedures will help ensure a quicker and smoother drop-off process for everyone, while maintaining safety for our students. We greatly appreciate your cooperation and commitment to making mornings run more smoothly. If you have any questions or concerns about these procedures, please feel free to contact the school office.
Thank you for your support in keeping our drop-off routine safe and efficient!
