2026-2027 Teacher Requests 2026-2027 Teacher Requests

It is hard to believe we are already at the point in the year when we begin planning next year's class lists. We would like to explain our expectation for parent requests in class placement for the 2026-2027 school year.

  • Parents need to submit a request on the Google Form by Friday, Mar. 20 at 8:00 a.m. The form will be turned off after 8:00 a.m. on Mar. 20 and requests will no longer be accepted.
  • Please enter a form for each child separately.
  • You may not request a teacher by name. If you request a teacher by name, it will not be honored.
  • Please describe the learning style of your child and what type of teacher you feel best matches your child's learning style.
  • If there are other students you don't want your child placed with, you may request this. Please give the reason why these students shouldn't be placed together. This request will need to be made annually by a parent.

Congratulations to Stone Creek's 2025 Support Staff of the Year, Dianne Reno! Diane is an IA in the Special Education Department and is a member of the House of Tanzanite. Here is a brief summary of what her peers have to say about her.

Dianne is a huge asset to SCE. She is reliable, supportive, and proactive. She has a positive attitude with students and staff, and is always willing to lend a hand. This kind of consistency is so important with our students. She is truly a joy to work with. She is always first to offer to help anywhere, with anything.

March Attendance Nugget March Attendance Nugget

Research shows as few as 2 absences a month in elementary school can lead to missing 15 days or more a year throughout a child's education. By giving your child a routine each morning, you are helping them develop the habit of coming to school each day they are not sick.

Visual Composition Central Character: A friendly, golden-brown cartoon chicken nugget with large eyes, an orange beak, and small legs stands on a winding yellow path. Background: A bright, colorful illustration of a two-story red schoolhouse with the word "SCHOOL" above the entrance. A flagpole with a red and white flag stands nearby, surrounded by green trees and a grassy field. Header: The word "MARCH" is written in an orange arched font at the top, followed by "ATTENDANCE NUGGET" in large, bold dark blue letters. Educational Text The bottom of the image contains a block of black text that reads: "Research shows as few as 2 absences a month in elementary school can lead to missing 15 days or more a year throughout a child’s education. By giving your child a routine each morning, you are helping them develop the habit of coming to school every day they are not sick."

Thinking about Staying Home from School?

Research Shows that students that miss 10 or more days a year are 20% less likely to graduate on time. Keep them on track for graduation by sending them to school when they are not sick.
