What a fun and busy week we experienced together! From KONA ICE and a Reading Assembly to Flashlight Reading and a Book Championship-Browning Bears are busy going for the Gold! Keep working on your medals turn initial each activity and submit for a prize.

Just a few reminders that we have our Family Game Night order forms are due by MARCH 20th. The paper copies were sent home. This is a TITLE ONE funded school sponsored event, so please be sure to submit those by March 20th. We have many staff members working this evening event!! Come and join us for the fun!

HALF-DAY MARCH 20th and MARCH 27th with dismissal at 12:09pm.

CONGRATULATIONS TO WIDA TESTERS! A special thank you to Ms. Yousif and Ms. Amato for working diligently to complete our WIDA TESTING. We will now begin to prepare for our MSTEP STATE ASSESSMENT beginning the last week of March. Please look for our MSTEP information for parents to come home NEXT WEEK!

• Breakfast is from 8:45-9:00 (with 9:05 for any late bus arrivals)
• FIRST BELL RINGS @ 8:55-student entry
• BREAKFAST WARNING BELL @ 9:00-students should be walking to class from cafeteria

A very special CONGRATULATIONS to our wonderful student council and Ms. Lauren for helping to facilitate and organize our I ❤️Dogs Fundraiser for the month of February-March. Mrs. Ciacchella was able to take the donations to the no-Kill Animal shelter and deliver ALL the wonderful supplies each grade level collected. Together, we collected and donated over 8 laundry baskets of items. The managers of the shelter were overjoyed with your support. THANK YOU BROWNING the BEST COMMUNITY of STUDENTS and STAFF!

Fifth and sixth graders in our SEED will be administered a survey on Tuesday, March 24th, that will provide us with information to better meet the needs of our students. The Casel survey provides data regarding students’ development of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making. A copy of the survey is available at this link. If you would prefer your student not participate in this survey, please contact our office.

All RSVPs were due to school by today. We look forward to welcoming many family members in for this FREE Educational game night on Tuesday at Browning Elementary from 6-7pm. This is a TITLE ONE sponsored event and we look forward to it, each year!
