Harvest Festival 10/25/24 Harvest Festival 10/25/24

We want to remind you that our upcoming Harvest Festival is an important fundraiser to help close the school's operational deficit. Your support is crucial to the success of this event.

Students will need to purchase tickets, which will be available for sale at the entrance, to participate in the games. These tickets will be used for all the booth games and the haunted house.

So that you know, food and drinks can be purchased separately using either cash or card.

We look forward to your participation and appreciate your ongoing support!

Event: 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Candy: We require every student to bring at least 2 pounds of candy to donate to their classroom for the Candy Wars. The winning class will be decided by dividing the total pounds of candy by the number of students in that class. The winning class will get a donut party sponsored by the school.

If you want to receive service hours for your candy, you must submit your receipt.

Food: Tacos & Aguas Frescas (Cash or Card)

Drinks: Water, Soda, Beer, and Seltzers (Cash or Card)

Sweets & Warn Drinks: 8th grade sale (cash only)

Music: DJ from 6:00 - 9:00 pm

Haunted House: 6:15- 8:45 (Tickets)

Trunk or Treat: Only ten spots are available. Use the Donation sign-up at the bottom to register for a place.

Booths: Each grade gets one booth with a tent, a table, and two chairs. (Tickets)

The room parents work hard to organize themes and games for their respective booths in cooperation with the teacher. We encourage you to sign up with your student's room parents to help work the booth and earn service hours, a great way to contribute to the event and your community.

Service Hours: If you would like your donation to your classroom booth to count for service hours, you must bring the receipt, and the school must keep the items after the event.

Parent Costume Contest: We encourage parents to dress up for a costume contest. There will be prizes for the top three costumes.

At St. Thomas Aquinas School, we joyfully celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, recognizing the rich cultural contributions, vibrant traditions, and powerful history of the Hispanic community. This special time allows us to honor the diverse heritage and values that shape our school and society, while also promoting unity and understanding. As we reflect on the lessons of faith, family, and community, we are reminded of the profound influence that Hispanic culture has had on our world, from the arts and sciences to education and faith. At St. Thomas Aquinas, we embrace this heritage with gratitude, joy, and the hope of continuing to build bridges of love and respect in our community. ¡Feliz Mes de la Herencia Hispana!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month 10/1/24- 10/31/24 Breast Cancer Awareness Month 10/1/24- 10/31/24

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to unite in support, hope, and action. Let's raise awareness, encourage early detection, and celebrate the strength of survivors and fighters everywhere. Whether by learning more, supporting loved ones, or contributing to research, we can all play a part in the fight against breast cancer. Together, we honor those affected, uplift those in need, and work towards a future where no one faces this battle alone. Every step forward brings us closer to a cure—hope is powerful, and so are we!
