Weekly Message
Good afternoon!
We had a very busy week! It has been great walking around the building and seeing everyone digging into the semester. I was able to see speeches, labs, ceramics projects as well as great learning discussions. It's great to see our teaching staff and students engaging in meaningful learning experiences.
I know there is a lot of anticipation about the weather and just maybe I won't see you until Tuesday 🤞⛄🤞! Stay tuned to all of our social media and/or news outlets for delays/closures.
Have a wonderful weekend!

- We sell student tickets so that students can attend the preliminary matches MOD 3/4. Tickets are $6.
- We will hold the finals and Staff vs. Student match during MODS 12/13 and is free for students but we will accept donations.
INFO & REMINDERS
Student Out Periods
We are very fortunate that our students have a significant amount of flexibility for student schedules Emerald Campus, CCP, Virtual, etc. This is a reminder that if a student is supposed to be OUT of the building for those classes, they are NOT permitted to stay at Jerome.
This is a significant safety concern. If we have a student that does not have a Jerome class on their schedule in the building we will ask them to leave. Students are welcome to be here but will need to be added to a study hall. Thank you for your assistance with this.
Illness symptoms are on the rise at Jerome.
If your child is feeling sick, please see below regarding when to keep your child home. This can also be found on our district website.
.
When to Stay Home
Your child is too ill to go to school if he or she has any of the following symptoms:
- Temperature above 100.4°F
- Vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hours
- Shortness of breath or an increase in wheezing during normal activity
- Has a cough that interrupts normal activity
- Rash over the body or localized to one area of the body
- Fatigue and needs bed rest (common with flu-like symptoms)
- Signs of conjunctivitis such as red, crusty or swollen eyes

Multi-use field, Baseball Field, or Softball Fields
Dublin Jerome does NOT yet have possession of the multi-use field, Baseball Field, or Softball Field. At the moment it is still under the purview of the contractors.
We ask that NO students, families, or community members use the areas until we take possession. This will be communicated by Mr. Schwanke when completed. We are almost there!
Parking Lot Safety Reminders
Drop Off/Pick Up: Jerome is a very busy place and experiences high volume of traffic at certain points during the day. Please be mindful of your speed and etiquette during these time. It takes all of us to keep our school community safe. One brief lapse can impact many.
AM Lifting: The end of AM workouts for our athletes increase the traffic in the Hyland Croy lot especially in the spring. The majority of our staff parks in this lot and arrive around the same time. If you have an athlete that drives or you are doing the pick-up please mindful of pedestrians and others.
