Sculpture Students to Queen City Clay

Sculpture students went on a field trip to Queen City Clay in Norwood on November 8th. Students learned how to throw on the wheel from professional artists. Queen City Clay has a 50,000 sq. ft. facility that allowed each student to practice on their own throwing wheel for the day. Students brought home multiple pieces of work they created during their visit.

Veterans Day Assembly at CMHS

On Friday, November 11th, students and staff honored our veterans during a 6-12 assembly. Principal Aaron Seewer welcomed everyone to our Veterans Day Recognition and introduced Stephen Ford, Transportation and Maintenance Supervisor. He is a CMHS Alumni and Air Force Veteran, and he led the CMHS/CMMS student body in the pledge of allegiance.

Junior Caitlyn McCamish played a Melody of Patriotism with Mrs. Hales. Principal Aaron Seewer discussed CMHS' Purple Heart designation, and the CMHS/CMMS choirs sang "America the Beautiful". CMHS alumni and USMC veteran Greg Grove addressed the student body. After the assembly, veterans were invited to participate in the CMES parade to salute their service.

Thanksgiving Break - November 21-25
