Academy Avenue Elementary School

Dear Academy Families and Friends,

February is just a few short days away. We've reached the middle of the school year and we are getting ready for the second half of the year. As you may recall, the students completed several different winter assessments when they started the month. Last week, our teachers and staff participated in data meetings with our ELA and Momenta coaches, where grade level teaching teams worked together to identify the strengths, the areas of student growth, and the challenges our teams will be targeting for the second half of the year. As always, please continue to help in the efforts at home with nightly reading, Lexia Core 5, and ST Math. We also have Bookflix and Trueflix available with over a half million selections via Scholastic's online library.

We're excited for the Prismatic Magic Assembly on Tuesday and our latest Peacebuilders' Assembly on Friday where students will be recognized for seeking wise people.
