Ashland Preschool Update
October 24th , 2025
Next week, we will have early release days on October 28, 29, and 30 for Conferences. Students will be dismissed between 11:20–11:30 a.m. Please note:

Lunch will not be served on these days.

There will be no PM session or late pickup on early release days.
These conferences are a wonderful opportunity to connect with your child’s teacher, hear how they are adjusting to school, and learn more about the skills they are currently working on in the classroom. Childcare will not be available during conference times.
Character Dress-Up Day
We are excited to celebrate Character Dress-Up Day next week!
AM students in Ms. Vician’s and Ms. Montville’s classes are invited to participate on October 30.
PM students in Ms. Vician’s and Ms. Montville’s classes, as well as all full-day students, are invited to participate on October 31.
We kindly ask that families do not send in accessories with costumes. Please refer to your child’s teacher’s weekly communication for any classroom-specific details.
Celebrating Donna Lowell
Next week, we will also be celebrating the retirement of Donna Lowell, who will be retiring from Pittaway Preschool after 25 years of dedicated service. We are deeply grateful to Donna for her many years of commitment to Ashland Public Schools and our community. Donna, you have touched the lives of hundreds of students and families, and your legacy will live on for years to come. Donna’s official last day will be October 30. We wish her all the best in this next chapter!

We’re excited to invite you to our first Parent Coffee of the year! This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families, chat with staff, and learn more about what’s happening at Pittaway and in the District. Register Here to let us know if you’ll be attending one of the sessions. If you will need a translator, please be sure to register by October 30th so we can make arrangements in advance.
