Welcome to March!

We are now officially into March, and one week away from March Break!

Play Rehearsals Continue

We continue to have play rehearsals throughout the week this week! Please see the message below from the organizers, who are looking for some help finding some supplies and storage solutions!

Dental Screener for K-2 students

On Wednesday, March 5, and Thursday March 6, we will be having our Dental Screeners happening from KFL&A.

Wet weather ahead!

We are now starting to see the beginnings of warmer weather, and with that comes very wet conditions. Educators do their best to direct students away from those big beautiful puddles, but it's not always successful. Please ensure that your students have extra clothes in case things get wet. As always, please reach out to your educator if you require anything for your student!

March Break is the week of March 10-14th.

We hope everyone has a fun and safe March Break, wherever it may take you!

Looking for activities for students? Please see the Early ON and On y va below.

See you next week!

When you join SchoolMessenger, you will be able to:

• receive imporant information from LDSB
• join classrooms and extra-curricular groups
• report a student's absence (same day and in advance)

Reporting A Student's Absence:

The new student absence reporting system will let you use a mobile app, a website, or an interactive toll-free phone number to report an absence in advance. These options are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Future absences can be reported at any time.

If your student is marked absent and the absence hasn’t been reported in advance, our new SafeArrival system will attempt to reach the student’s priority contact by telephone to confirm the absence. If our system is unable to reach the designated contacts, school office staff will follow up.
