Halloween Party Information
The Halloween Parties will take place on Friday, October 25. The parade will begin at 2:10. As long as the weather is good, the parade will take place outside. See the map below for where parents can view the parade. If it is raining, parents will gather in the gym to watch the parade. Student costumes should not have any blood, gore, or weapons. Students will not wear their costumes to school that day. They will have time in the classroom to get dressed in the afternoon.
The parties will follow immediately around 2:30. If you have been asked by your child's teacher to set up for the party, you may come in to the building for set up beginning at 2:00. All volunteers coming into the building for the party MUST have an updated background check! You cannot update it the day of the party. If you completed your secure volunteer background check last school year and just need to update it, you will need to email Devinnie Wysocki at dwysocki@nbas.org for renewal. If you are completing the volunteer background check for the first time, please visit here and complete this at least one week prior to the party or event you are volunteering for.
PTO Fundraiser
Don’t forget to register and share your page for the ONLY PTO fundraiser! There is no hassle of delivering or going door to door! This fundraiser is how we are able to fund the new sensory path, many of the fun events, and incentives for our students! Registration is completely free! Then just share your links!!!

Ms. James class won the indoor recess pack for being the first to $300
The top 2 classes registered earned stuffies!
Mrs. Price's Pre-K class had 48% of students registered!
Colder Weather
As the colder weather is coming in, please remember to send your child with appropriate outdoor apparel. They will be outdoors for recess time and many students have been unprepared for cooler weather. Also, remember to label all of your child's garments with their names so that items can be returned if they get lost.
Background Checks
Volunteer background checks are required to be completed for field trips, class parties, or any volunteer time in a classroom. Our Halloween party is set to take place on Friday, October 25. If you have not already done so, please go to this link and complete the background check at least 1 week prior to any of these events. If you completed this last year you will not need to do this again, but you will need to email Devinnie Wysocki at the central office and ask her to update your background check. Her email address is dwysocki@nbas.org. Please let the office know if you have any questions.
