- Winter Guard Try Outs, 4:30 - 7:00 pm
- Call time for AM Pep Rally, 8:30 am, DHS Band Hall (bands wear jeans and state shirt, guard wear summer uniform)
- Butter Braid Fundraiser Kickoff during class
- Full Band Rehearsal (Band and Color Guard), 5-6 pm (all eligible students required to attend)
- Deadline to register for Region Band Auditions
- Playoff Game #2 vs. Beeville Jones @ Jourdanton HS, 7 pm
Special Booster Meeting
We have a short-notice budget requirement that surfaced after Tuesday's scheduled meeting, which requires a special booster meeting to be called.
Wolf Band bylaws sections 10.2 and 10.3.d require a vote by membership for any budget amendment or non-budgeted expense in excess of $2000. A program requirement had been requested by Mr. Keyes that meets these thresholds. A vote by the general membership to approve is required.
The special meeting is being called at 6:00 pm in the auditorium on Monday, November 13. It will be very short--just long enough to propose, answer questions, and vote. Apologies for the short notice, but please make every effort to attend.
Butter Braid Fundraiser Kickoff
We are kicking off our Butter Braid Fundraiser this Thursday. We are raising money for next years marching show :)

We will run the fundraiser through December 1st at 11:59pm. Delivery will be December 14th.
Region Band Auditions
Region band audition entries are due by Friday, November 17th. Students who plan on auditioning for the region band need to complete this entry form and turn in $10 in cash or check payable to Davenport HS Boosters by Friday. The audition will be at La Vernia HS on Saturday, December 2nd. We will be taking a bus to and from the audition. Students who earn a chair in the band will earn a Davenport HS Letter Jacket. Students who would like to be in Wind Ensemble in the Spring semester are highly encouraged to audition for region band.

Beeville Jones Playoff Game
Playoff games are required for all band and color guard students who do not have a conflict. Please communicate any conflicts with playoff games early in the week.
Students need to bring these items with them to school on Friday.
-Grey Wolf Band water bottle filled with ice and water
- Band - long black socks, marching shoes, compression shirt and shorts
- Color guard - summer uniform with warm ups
-Flip folder with this music inside
- 7th period - Come to band hall, load truck, dress in half uniform, pass out food, load charter busses
- 4:15 pm - Leave DHS for Jourdanton HS - taking school busses and Dusty
- 6:00 pm - Arrive at Jourdanton HS
- 6:40 pm - Pre-game ceremonies
- 7:00 pm - Game starts
- 11:45 pm - Parent Pickup @ DHS
Winter Guard
Winter Guard season is just around the corner. We will be having two winter guards again this year - a varsity winter guard and a junior varsity winter guard. Both groups will travel, compete, and pay an additional fee of $300 for the winter season. The varsity winter guard will have a costume fee on top of their fair share fee, but they will get to keep their costume. The costume should be between $150-$175. Our junior varsity winter guard will be wearing the same costume we used for marching season.
Here are some important dates for winter guard season.
- November 14 - Winter Guard Try Outs after school
- December 4 - Winter Guard parent meeting immediately after Holiday Concert
Color guard parents, please complete the poll below by the end of the day on Tuesday, November 14th regarding camp dates during the holiday break.

Directions for Syncing Charms Calendar

For iPhones
- Go into the Settings app
- Touch "Accounts & Passwords"
- On the Accounts & Passwords screen, touch "Add Account"
- On the Add Account screen, touch "Other"
- Under Calendars, touch "Add Subscribed Calendar"
- For the Server value, enter the URL of the public calendar:

- It will verify the server then show a subscription page. Change the description if you like.
- Touch "Save" to save the subscription
For Android Phones
To sync with Android devices, you will need to use your Google account and have a Google calendar created.
In your Google calendar on a real computer:
- Under "Other Calendars" click the Add link.
- Select "Add by URL"
- Enter the following URL:

- Google will begin to sync your calendar, and it will appear on the screen.
- Click "Settings"
- Change the long name of the new calendar to something you will remember such as "Charms Calendar"
- Your phone should automatically be set to sync with your Google calendar.
- On your phone: Click on "Calendar", then bring up the settings for the calendar. Click on Calendar Sync. You should see your google account listed already. Make sure Auto-Sync is checked.
Remind Groups
Parents and students, please take a moment to join the appropriate groups by texting the code including the @ to 81010. You do not need to re-join if you were in the correct group last year.

Fee Payments
- Please consider paying with cash or a check to avoid the 4% plus $1 per transaction service charge for using a credit card. You may pay your booster fees online at this link. The instrument usage fee can be paid at this link.
- Payment plans are available upon request.
- The fair share fee ($300), marching shoes/color guard uniform items (various cost) will be paid to the booster (Check to Davenport Band Boosters) and the instrument usage fee ($80) will be paid to the school (Check to Davenport High School).
