HHS Choir Monthly Updates
September 2026
I hope everyone has had a good start to the 26-27 school year! I'm very excited about what this year will hold for the Choirs and we've just begun. I can't wait to continue to grow and make music!!
Thank you to everyone who participated in Tag Day. I do not have the final numbers yet, but once I do I will share that figure with you.
Here is what you need to know about what's coming up this month and next for the HHS Choirs
Please make sure you're receiving emails from our ChoirVP, Kim Murphy
If not, you can email her at choirvp.hhsma@gmail.com
Tag Day | Thank You!
Thank you to all parents who volunteered to drive and all students who attended the annual HHSMA Tag Day fundraiser on 8/22. The numbers are still being tallied, but regardless, we appreciate our students representing our school and our Choir program with pride and class!!
Our 2026-27 Dates
Please make sure these dates are on your calendars!
All concerts are graded, summative events for choir students. If there are conflicts, they need to be discussed as soon as possible. This will allow us to try and find a way for students to be able to do both, however, if that's not the case, students must make it to the concert.

Class of 2027 | Senior Banners & Buttons
SENIORS!
It's time to get your Banners made for the year. Once again, Mr. Naujoks will be taking the photos of you and we will cover the expense, so we expect all seniors to get their photos taken; you will be wearing your Choir uniform. Those Seniors also in Vocal Impact can choose which outfit they'd like to wear. We will be doing it during the following times:
Wednesday September 9th:
Men's & Women's Choir Seniors: 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM
Bella Voce Seniors: 9:35 AM - 10:00 AM (first part of block)
Chamber Choir Seniors: 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM (first part of block)
Senior families may order photo buttons of the senior banner photo to wear at our concerts (or whenever they want!). The buttons are $2 each and will be made by our HHS Makerspace. If interested in ordering photo buttons, please Venmo our Choir VP Kim Murphy $2 per button to @Kimberley-Murphy-13 (last 4 digits 0043) by September 10th.
We are in need of Concession Volunteers!
Concessions is a partnership between the HHS Music Association and Athletic Boosters, and each music program receives concessions funds for each parent volunteer with all funds directly benefiting our students. Please sign up below to volunteer. Students may volunteer as well for service hours. We are still in need of volunteers for this Friday’s first home football game!
We are also looking for concession stand managers. Stand managers typically oversee 2–3 events during the school year, including basketball, soccer, lacrosse, track and field, and other sports. Concession stand managers are paid per event managed and training is provided. Note that football concessions are generally managed by our more experienced stand managers.
If interested in being a concession stand manager, please reach out to hhsconcessionchair@gmail.com.
Choir Photos
If you have any pictures, we would love to see them. Please upload them to this Google Drive Folder for all of the choirs to be able to see! We would like to give a huge thanks to Phil Burling for all the incredible photos he captured last school year. Thank you!!!
HARMONY UPDATE!!
We're still looking for a point person to help us organize and fundraise for Phase 2 of the Harmony Project. Our work is far from done, and we can use all the help we can get. Learn more about Phase 2 below
