Aztec Students and Families,
Get ready for one of the most exciting weeks of the school year...HOMECOMING WEEK! 🎉 We have a fun-filled week planned, starting with our themed Spirit Days and lunch activities with the Hoco Court all week! Be sure to check out the graphics below for each day's theme, and show off that Aztec pride by participating. In addition to these in-school events, we have a couple other events happening after school hours:
🏈 Friday Night Lights & Homecoming Royalty! Join us this Friday for our Homecoming Football Game! Bring your family and friends, cheer on our Aztecs, and stick around for our special halftime celebration as we crown our 2026 Homecoming King and Queen! 👑
💃🕺 Homecoming Dance – Saturday Night! The celebration continues Saturday at the beautiful Vesper Venue in Liberty Station! All grade levels are invited to come out for a memorable night of music, dancing, laughter, and making memories with friends. Don't miss out on one of the biggest social events of the year! We've extended last week's ticket pricing through Wednesday, so take advantage of the savings and purchase your tickets TODAY! 🎟️
📚 Time to LOCK IN, Aztecs! While we're excited about all the Homecoming festivities, let's not lose sight of our academics! Progress Reports come out next week, which means teachers will likely be finalizing grades this Friday. Now is the time to turn in missing assignments, complete outstanding work, check your grades, and reach out to teachers for support. Don't wait until the last minute! Let's make sure your hard work is reflected in your Progress Report.
Let's make it a great week, Aztecs! ❤️💙
Take care,

Athlete of the Week
Paloma Jarumayan- Girls Golf @mohgirlsgolf
Top 5 Strengths:
Restorative, Individualization, Strategic, Futuristic, Ideation
Paloma just finished up her 4th season on the Varsity Girls Golf team and last night wrapped up her 4th league title for girls golf. An incredible journey and an incredible milestone. Paloma will enter the Metro Finals next week as the #1 seed.
Her Coach has raved about her willingness to be coached throughout her Senior season. Paloma says the strength she uses the most during Golf is her Strategic strength. She says that when she evaluates a course she has to be strategic on ball placement to limit the amount of strokes she uses. A strategy she learned early on in her freshman season.
Congratulations Paloma! You make us all Proud to be an Aztec!!
