Overlook's Bi-Weekly Update

Dear Overlook Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! We hope you had a wonderful summer and are ready for another great year at Overlook.

I am so excited to continue serving as principal and to welcome everyone back. We have a lot to look forward to this year, and I’m excited about the work we will continue to do together to make Overlook a place where every student feels known, supported, and ready to grow.

I am also excited to welcome Mike Buswell as our new Assistant Principal. Mike joins us from Oakmont Regional High School. He began his career in education as a paraprofessional in 2011 and went on to work in a variety of special education and inclusion settings before moving into administration in 2023. We are very lucky to have him joining our team, and I know our students, families, and staff will enjoy getting to know him.

As we begin a new school year, we are looking forward to all that is ahead. There is a lot of great work happening at Overlook, and we can’t wait to share it with you throughout the year in The Eagle’s View.
