Investing in the Future of Youth Sports! 🔼
Youth sports have the power to shape confident, connected, and healthy communities—and we’re excited to keep investing in that future!
Our MSPR Director Dawn Woodall, along with Assistant Athletic Directors Augie Erbe and Devin Jackson, attended the Alabama Recreation and Parks Foundation’s Inaugural Alabama Youth Sports Summit, presented by RCX Sports and the CoachSafely Foundation.
We were inspired by incredible leaders from across the youth sports industry, including the amazing Izell Reese, Chief Executive Officer of RCX Sports and Executive Director of NFL FLAG.
RCX Sports’ mission of providing every child with an opportunity to play and making youth sports accessible and inclusive for all directly aligns with the mission and goals of MSPR. We believe every child deserves the chance to participate, grow their skills, build confidence, and experience the lifelong benefits of being involved in sports.
A huge thank-you to Alabama Recreation & Parks Association, RCX Sports, and the CoachSafely Foundation for making this impactful event possible and for equipping our team with valuable education, inspiration, and motivation.
We’re excited to bring what we learned back to Muscle Shoals and keep working to make MSPR the very best it can be for our athletes, families, and community!

Santa’s Workshop: Holiday Market is returning this December!
After an incredible event last year featuring more than 50 vendors, we are excited to bring back another opportunity for our community to shop local, find unique gifts, and get into the holiday spirit.

THE CITY OF MUSCLE SHOALS CHRISTMAS PARADE
🎄 ANOTHER IMPORTANT DATE! 🎄
It may still be a few months away, but it's never too early to start thinking about one of our favorite Muscle Shoals traditions!
The Muscle Shoals Christmas Parade will take place on December 3rd (the first Thursday in December). We invite our community, businesses, organizations, schools, and families to mark their calendars and begin preparing for another memorable night of Christmas fun!
More information regarding this year's parade, including registration and participation details, will be announced soon. 🎅✨
