PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Monday August 4th Monday August 4th

Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year!

Please pardon the interruption of what I hope is an amazing summer break! I don't want to intrude on anyone's summer fun, but we have turned the page on the calendar to August, and we do have a lot of important information to share. I'm sure many of you are eager to start getting prepped for the start of school in 17 days!

If you’ve been visiting Patton this summer, you may have noticed dumpsters outside along with workers entering and exiting the building. While we didn’t add any new classrooms this year, we did some remodeling in some of the oldest classrooms inside our building. We have new shelving and cabinetry along with cubbies replacing the wall of hooks in fifteen of our classrooms. We are very excited about our renewed spaces. This did require teachers to completely pack up everything in their classrooms in order for this work to be completed. We appreciate your understanding as teachers may still be putting the finishing touches on their classrooms as the school year begins.

Class placement information will be sent out via email on Thursday, August 14th. We cannot tell you what time the emails will be sent as this is a centralized process. Email delivery may be staggered so it is possible that some people will receive the email before you. This does not mean that you have been forgotten. Please continue to check throughout the day, including your spam or junk folder. If you have not heard about your child's class placement by 8:00 am on Friday, August 15th, please reach out to Mrs. Hamilton or Mrs. Dunning in the front office and they will be happy to help you.

Our PTA has been busy organizing some fantastic events so please mark your calendars for the LAST SPLASH POOL PARTY on Tuesday, August 12th at Frontier Pool and the always amazing BACK TO SCHOOL BASH that will take place on Friday, September 5th! We are so grateful to our PTA for organizing these events and helping to start off the school year with opportunities to have fun and connect with one another! More details can be found below!

I have included our "Back to School Guide" in this edition of the Post as it is full of helpful hints and reminders for the start of the school year!

In the meantime, I hope you all continue to enjoy the rest of the summer break! We cannot wait to see all of our panthers on Thursday August, 21st!

Sincerely,

Ellie Chin

We know that, after a long hot summer, we could all do with little refresher on the daily procedures for Patton! From information about the lunch process to morning drop off, our "Back to School Guide" has it all! This document should answer any and all questions you have but please feel free to reach out if you would like any further clarification or if there is an answer you can't find. Our office is open every day, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm and Mrs. Hamilton and Mrs. Dunning are available to answer any and all of your questions!

School Supply Drop off will take place on Wednesday, August 20th from 2:50 - 3:20 pm. Teachers are still busy preparing for an amazing first day of school. Please stop by to drop off school supplies and meet your teacher! We kindly ask that only current families visit the classroom so that teachers are able to say hello and connect with each of their new students during this time. Once you drop off your supplies please feel free to stop by the commons to sample some of our delicious hot lunch items or head outside to the blacktop area and connect with other families outdoors. There is no need to organize supplies while you are in the classroom. Teachers will build that into the first few days of school. If you are unable to attend supply drop off, please know that your child can bring their supplies in over the first few days of school.

If you ordered supplies through the PTA, those supplies will be delivered directly to your child's classroom.

If you still need to purchase supplies, you can either this link for a school supply list or, new this year you can easily purchase supplies online at a store of your choice! Simply navigate HERE, head to "Quick Links for Parents" and look for "School Supply List 25-26". Select the applicable grade from the drop down menu below, select the store you would like to purchase from and voila - all items will be added to your online shopping cart!
