Thoughts From J-Rob
- I had a great visit with our superintendent as she came in for a meet and greet. She asked me what made GHS great. Quite simply, it is our staff who are committed to the success of every student and always pull together to be successful at any challenge.
From Coach Salt: So many of you have reached out to see how you can help and right now the need is food. If you would like to help out, I have created a meal train for people to help bless this family. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Coach G's email is one of those affected so if she is not on campus she may not get your email. Her number is in the Meal Train and is the best way to get in contact with her about delivery.

- Many students have told me the difference in how they have been treated well after coming from other schools and they love all of the many activities that are offered in and outside of school.
- Although I have only been here since last July, I feel like GHS has been home for a long time.
- Our Teacher of the Year and Support Staff voting processes are always a joy to celebrate those that stand out. We will be announcing these winners on the next PD day.
- Wednesday, I will be at the Tarleton Job Fair with Wes Jones to recruit for our district.
- Success doesn't happen by accident and I appreciate all you are doing.
- If you are having an event, please make sure that a facilities request is completed. If the public is attending, then security must be included, which is noted in SchoolDude.
- If you have pictures of your GEF grants in action, please send them to me. I am going to keep highlighting these so we can continue to get funds in the future.
- If you have students that are continuously tardy, please make sure these are entered as "T" in Skyward. I will happily put them to work or walk them to class to ensure they learn the habit and importance of how being on time impacts their education and paycheck.
- Our PD plan is almost complete. The 21st is a staff workday to finish all grades, call parents of students that are failing, etc. The 28th will have more specific training and videos and we will send out the agendas soon.
- A local spa provided $25 coupons for GHS staff. If you would like one, please let me know.

We love seeing the CKH implementations happening around the campus. If you or your team observes one of the bingo sections happening, sign away! We want to recognize beautiful implementation. We also want to recognize staff and students that go above and beyond on this link:
