P.O.G. Winners
PERSERVERANCE
Congratulations to our first POG attribute winners! After nominations and voting, one student is chosen per grade to represent the attribute of focus. These three students were chosen for their "PERSERVERANCE."
6th Grade: Sadie F. - "I think Sadie is a great nominee for this trait. She is always doing what she is supposed to and working hard when things get tough. Sadie always has a smile on her face. She is just a great person in general."
7th Grade: Hayden P. - "Even with Brittle Bone Disease, Haven has shown nothing but positivity to his classmates. No one I have ever met has had any reason to be upset with him. I think everyone can learn something from Haven's great attitude and overall outlook on life. Therefore, I believe that Haven is well deserving of this award."
8th Grade: Ella S. - "Ella deserves to be recognized as the 8th-grade student who best represents perseverance because she continually pushes through challenges with determination, positivity, and resilience. Whether balancing a tough schedule, auditioning year after year for lead musical roles, or tackling hard tasks in class, Ella never gives up and always strives to improve. She stays focused, encourages others, and spreads kindness with her smile and support, making her not only a hardworking and committed student but also an inspiration and role model to her peers."
SAVE Project
Please be aware, the Hendricks County Sheriff Office will be doing our fall SAVE (Stop Arm Violation Enforcement) project from Aug 18-Sept 12th. This is when we have marked police cars following school buses looking for stop arm violations.

Our yearbook dance is on September 5th from 3:00-5:00p. The cost is $5. Below is a graphic from our awesome PTO for concessions!

Homework Help Courtesy of NJHS!
NJHS is sponsoring Homework Help Days! Any CMS student is welcome to attend, but students must have a ride to and from school. Pickup time is 3:45 p.m., and students may not stay afterward to wait for games or other events.
During Homework Help, NJHS members will be available to assist with assignments, or students may simply use the time as a quiet place to study.
