Happy Friday Wildcat Families,
We had our first attendance/behavior reward for our 6th and 7th grade students (8th grade was postponed due to lightening) and the students who earned this reward had some nice outside time after lunch. We hope to continue to reward students with this tradition so please make sure that attendance is good and send those doctor notes to our attendance office. Remember if a student leaves for an appointment and comes back with an excuse, it is counted as a Health absence and is excused.
Progress report grades for students will be completed by today. This is an eligibility check as mentioned in last week's newsletter. Please check HAC and make sure that your student is taking advantage of tutoring, working on missing assignments at home, and communicating with teacher if any grades are below expectations. Final report cards will come in 3 weeks.
We got our student ID badges in and have handed them out. Please talk to your student about wearing their ID badge. This is a district requirement. If a student loses and ID badge, a replacement can be purchased for $5.00. Picture retakes were done and any student who did not previously get an ID because we didn't take their picture will have an ID made so they can have one.
Please take the opportunity today to consider joining PTA. PTA helps our campus by providing opportunities to our students to have dances, rewards, and faculty support. Our PTA goal is to have at least 500 members this year. You can help us reach this goal. You and your student(s) can join. I signed up and hope you will also. Click here to join.
Parents we are also asking if you could please speak to your student regarding Stevenson Wildcat expectations. We are seeing an increase in mischief/horseplay and as your partner in your child's education, we need your support. Included is the Stevenson pride matrix, it can be a dinner conversation today! :)
