Dear Families,
March is off to a great start at Wessagusset! We are kicking off a celebration of reading with “Read Across America” activities. This is the perfect month for all of our students to read, read, read! We ended the week with a very special PBIS Assembly - not only did we get to recognize the positive behavior of our students, but we also got to enjoy a fantastic demonstration of Irish step-dancing from the Forbes School of Irish Dance, featuring two of our own Wessagusset students, Shalane Levitt and Maggie Waters. It was such a treat! A huge thank you to the Levitt Family for organizing this special event! Below you will find helpful information for the weeks ahead:
We are so proud of all of the positive behaviors we see at Wessagusset! Here are our February PBIS Winners:
Golden Dustpan (Cleanest classroom) - Mr. Sbarra’s Class, Room 11
Golden Ticket Winners - Ava C, 1G and Deborah C, 5E
Paw Winners: 1st Place - 3K 2nd Place - 2DW - 3rd Place - 5K
Our Literacy Coach Mrs. Fitzpatrick has put together a calendar of fun reading activities to help our students celebrate “Read Across America”. These optional activities will add some festivity to the long month ahead, and help build a lifelong love of reading! Read Across America Calendar
