FOR THOSE OF YOU NEW TO HCS...
The HCS Annual Variety Show is a show that our kids have been working on for the past few months. Each grade performs a dance or act. Grandparents, family, friends, etc, all are welcome to attend.
LOCATION: MASCOUTAH HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM.
Doors open at 5:30, and students should sit with their class. Itβs generally about an hour and a half long. Please communicate any questions with your classroom teacher.
1st COMMUNION FROM THIS PAST SUNDAY!
BISHOP ORDINATION
MAY CROWNING
All little girls of the parish are invited to wear their Easter dresses or First Communion gowns on Sunday, May 3, for the 10:00 AM Mass. They will honor Mary by processing in and placing a flower in a vase in front of the Mary statue. If possible, please have the girls come to the prayer center by 9:45 or 9:50 AM so we can practice; they will then go sit with their family members after they place the flower in the vase. ( Roses provided)
We are also in need of four young boys to help carry the Mary float. We ask that they wear their Sunday best as well.
If anyone has questions, they can contact Ronda Beck at 618-975-3505.

WEEK OF THE MILITARY CHILDππππ
If you would like to RSVP for any activity next week,
Please fill out the Google Form Below.
PLEASE NOTE:
Our "SPECIAL TREAT" every year is an annual trip to McDonalds with our military kids and families. Every year it has been held on Friday afternoon, but this year we will need to move it to Thursday. We ask that all students and active moms/dads that are able, to meet at the front of school at 1:15 PM on Thursday afternoon.
We will walk to McDonald's for a tasty treat, enjoy our time there, then walk back.
I can always use some supervision / support from any moms and dads that are able.
I will send a reminder to all of you next week!
Thank you, everyone!

MY EMOTIONAL SUPPORT CHICKEN ππ
In the window of my office...
...some of you might know that I keep an "Emotional Support Chicken" for my students. Not to make light of true emotional support animals who provide comfort and care to those suffering from mental concerns, my chicken is there to also provide some support for some of our students who might need a little light-hearted "pick-me-up".
Ms. Colon an Ms. Henke....THANKS FOR THE SMALL GIFT!
