INCOMING KINDERGARTNERS
STALEY GIRLS YOUTH BASKETBALL
We’ve partnered with the Staley High School Girls Basketball program to create a premier feeder program in the Northland, serving 2nd grade through high school athletes. Our mission is to prepare future Staley Falcons by building strong fundamentals, developing high basketball IQ, and growing confidence on and off the court.
Teams are primarily formed from Staley feeder schools, with additional athletes added as needed to create competitive and developmentally appropriate rosters.
Players will have opportunities for primary teams, secondary teams, or flexible tournament-only options with school teammates.
Please complete the interest form so we can learn more about your athlete and help find the best fit!

INCLEMENT WEATHER PROCEDURES
***REPEATED***
Our next inclement weather day will be a virtual learning day! Details below:
- Inclement weather days 2 - 7 will be virtual learning days. Students should use their district iPad to log in and participate in virtual learning activities.
- Some classrooms will host a live check-in and review of the daily assignments at 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM via Canvas Conference. Reach out to your child's classroom teacher if you or your student has questions on how to participate. Classroom teachers will communicate with families expectations for students' work. Most work will be sent via See Saw.
- Encore (Specials) teachers will also provide check-in opportunities. Your child's classroom teacher will let students know which encore activity to complete each virtual learning day and the time of their encore check-in.
- A Canvas Conference Support document is attached below to outline how students log into Canvas to access their conferences.
- If the district implements the two hour delayed start, we will open our doors at 10:30 AM, with a regular release time.
- All buses will pick up students two hours later than regular pick up times.
- Students enrolled in Adventure Club may be dropped off at regular start times.
