Hello Irons Family!

I am so excited to welcome you to the 2025–2026 school year! Whether you're returning or joining us for the first time, we’re looking forward to an incredible year of growth, learning, and connection.

My name is Olivia Robinson, and I’m honored to serve as the principal of Irons Junior High. This will be my 12th year in education, my 6th year as a CISD administrator, and my 2nd year as the very proud principal of Irons Junior High School. I truly believe Irons is the hidden jewel of junior highs in CISD. While we are the smallest junior high in the district with a projected enrollment of around 1,350 students, we are mighty in heart, spirit, and excellence.

My goal for this school year is to make Irons a safe, welcoming, and fun learning environment for every student, staff member, and family. We are proud to carry on the legacy of our namesake, Mr. Gerald D. Irons Jr., who was a pillar in the Conroe community. His values of resilience, integrity, and service guide everything we do.

On Tuesday, August 5th, join us for our AROUND THE WORLD Nest Fest: Schedule Pick-Up Night, where parents and students will receive student schedules and get all the information you need to start the school year strong!

During the event, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Learn about campus expectations

• Set up your Home Access Center account

• Explore clubs and student organizations

• Meet teachers from various departments

• Get answers to your questions about all things Irons Junior High

• Pick up pre-purchased school supplies - We will have a limited quantity available for purchase (Cash Only)

We can’t wait to welcome our Hawks and families back on campus as we gear up for an amazing year!

All students must have the required immunizations on file in order to receive their schedule at Nest Fest on August 5, 2025.

Students who are missing any required immunizations will not be given their schedule at the event.

Please ensure your child’s immunization records are up to date and submitted to the school nurse prior to Hawk Fest. If you have any questions about what is needed, feel free to contact our campus nurse, Glenda Castillo for assistance.

Let’s work together to make sure everyone is ready for a smooth start to the school year!

The first day of school is Wednesday, August 13th! We’re excited to welcome all of our Hawks back on campus for a great start to the 2025–2026 school year.

Doors will open at 7:45AM, and staff will be ready to help students find their way. We encourage students to arrive early, bring their schedule, and come ready to soar into a new year of learning and growth.

Mark your calendars! Join us for Open House on Tuesday, September 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Parents will follow a bell schedule—just like their students—moving from class to class to meet teachers and learn about each course. This is a great opportunity to experience a day in the life of your child and to get valuable insight into classroom expectations, curriculum, and ways to support your student’s success.

Don’t forget to stop by the Book Fair in the library! It’s the perfect chance to grab great reads and support our campus.

We look forward to seeing you there and partnering with you for a fantastic year at Irons Junior High!

War Eagle Football Camp
Get ready to kick off the season! The War Eagle Football Camp will be held July 28th–31st at Oak Ridge High School from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM each day. This camp is open to incoming 7th–9th grade students and is a great opportunity to build skills, learn the game, and train with the Oak Ridge coaching staff.
