Partnership Begins with a Conversation
Dear MCA Preschool-K Families,
As we approach parent-teacher conferences, we are reminded that children thrive when the important adults in their lives work together. In preschool and kindergarten, children are learning so much more than letters, numbers, and routines. They are developing confidence, independence, friendships, and a love of learning. When families and teachers partner together, we can better support the whole child.
Conferences are an opportunity to build that partnership. Teachers bring their knowledge of how children learn and grow at school, while families bring a unique understanding of their child’s personality, interests, strengths, and experiences at home. Both perspectives matter!
As you prepare for your conference, consider sharing what excites your child, what challenges they may be experiencing, and what you hope to see as they grow. Ask questions, celebrate progress, and talk together about ways to support your child both at school and at home.
This week in your students take home folder there should be a conference questionnaire, please fill it out and return back to your student's teacher before conferences.
Thank you for partnering with us. Together, we can create a strong foundation for your child’s learning, growth, and success!
