Church Story Thanksgiving Sign-up
Church Story is supporting families in need again this Thanksgiving! Church Story believes community means caring for one another, and they are grateful for the opportunity to support families in need. Last year, 161 families participated! Families will receive a frozen turkey and groceries with ready-to-cook side dishes on Sunday, November 15. Families can sign-up using this form.
Holiday Heroes Program Nominations
We are currently nominating students/families for Tomball First Responders’ annual Holiday Heroes program. If your family has experienced hardship and may benefit from the Holiday Heroes program, contact your student’s counselor by October 29, 2026 for your student to be nominated for the program (5th: Erin Thaemlitz, 6th: Cornelius Taylor, 7th: Joey Newman, 8th: Tammy Bendele). A nomination does not definitely mean that your student will be selected. Students chosen for the program will go on a shopping spree for the Christmas holiday with members of the Tomball Police, Fire and Public Works departments and Northwest Community Health (EMS). Each child selected to attend will be paired up with a hero on Saturday, December 5th, 2026, to eat breakfast, ride in an emergency vehicle convoy to Walmart, and shop.

The Amy Kuneman Foundation is sponsoring the Miles for Mom 5k on January 23rd. The foundation was started by CP's very own, Molly Kuneman (freshman at THS), in honor of her mother that passed away suddenly in December 2023. Her younger siblings Maggie (8th) and Luke (6th) currently attend CP. If you are able to help show your support, we know it will be greatly appreciated!
Which Office Should I Use?
- 5th Grade Front Entrance (Back of Building): Use this office if you are signing out or dropping items off strictly for a 5th-grade student (CLINIC PICK UP FOR 5th- 8th is in the 6th-8th Front Office ONLY).
- 6th–8th Grade Front Entrance (Front of Building): Use this office for 6th-8th students and 5th graders who have older siblings being checked out ---No need to visit both grade-level offices. Let us help you!
- Reminder: Item drop-offs are strongly discouraged to minimize classroom disruptions and keep our staff focused on campus security and instruction.
Thank you for partnering with us to keep our campus safe, organized, and focused on learning. We appreciate your continued support!
Important Update: Student Lunch & Drop-Off Policy
With over 1,750 students on campus, our front office team manages a high volume of daily logistics. Our top priority is student safety and uninterrupted instruction. Managing daily item and meal drop-offs takes significant staff time and diverts front office assistant's attention away from monitoring building access, school security, and answering calls.
How You Can Help: Please ensure your child leaves for school each morning with their lunch, water bottle, and daily snacks packed in their backpack. We strongly discourage mid-day drop-offs and ask that parents save office drop-offs strictly for rare emergencies or occasional special treats. Commercial delivery services (e.g., DoorDash, UberEats) are strictly prohibited.
Streamlined Drop-Off Process: If an emergency drop-off is unavoidable, please follow this simplified 3-step procedure to keep our front office secure and running smoothly:
Drop Off at the Front Desk: Bring the lunch directly to the front office station. Lunches must be for your child only; sharing is not permitted. 5th Grade Office for 5th Graders (back of the building facing athletic fields) and 6th-8th Office for all other grades (front of the building)
Label the Item: Use the provided markers and tags at the front counter to clearly write your child’s Full Name and Grade.
Cafeteria Transfer: Staff or student aides transfer tagged items to the Cafeteria Stage Area during designated lunch blocks.
Note: Office staff do not deliver items directly to classrooms to avoid disrupting instructional time. While cafeteria monitors remind students to check the stage, it is ultimately the student's responsibility to retrieve their dropped-off lunch from the cafeteria stage area.
Thank you for your partnership and support in prioritizing a safe, focused learning environment for all students!
Lunch Visitors
We will share specific assigned days and designated seating details soon.
- All lunch visitors must check in through the 6th–8th Grade Entrance for direct cafeteria access. NO LUNCH VISITOR ACCESS IN 5th GRADE OFFICE
- Visitors will not be permitted to walk through other areas of the building.
Thank you for partnering with us to keep our campus safe, organized, and focused on learning. We appreciate your continued support!
Student & Parent Communication Guidelines
Now that we have settled into school, we want to discuss communication means to support families. We want to ensure clear, consistent communication between home and school while minimizing classroom distractions. Below is our updated guide on how home-to-school communication is handled at Creekside Park.
Calling or Messaging Your Child
Urgent matters only: Please limit phone calls to urgent, time-sensitive situations. To reach your child in an emergency, call the main office directly and our staff will take the message. We will contact the classroom as needed to assist you.
How Students Call Home
School phones: If a student needs to reach a parent during the day, they may request a pass to the front office to use the school phone or stop by the front office during passing periods.
Caller ID tip: Save the school’s main phone number in your mobile device so you can easily recognize incoming calls from campus or your child- 281-357-3282.
Thank you for your partnership in keeping our campus safe, organized, and focused on learning. We are looking forward to a fantastic school year!

Parent Reminder- HAC
Be sure to click the "classes" tab to see individual assignment grades for each class. The "grades" tab will only provide progress report, report card, and state testing information.
Daily Reminders:
Please be mindful that state law requires all students to attend a class at least 90% of the time it is scheduled to meet which means a student cannot miss more than 18 days. This is especially important for our high school credit courses:
- General Employability
- Algebra I
- Geometry
- Spanish I
- Spanish for Native Speakers
- Intro to Computer Aided Drafting & Design
- Digital Media
- Engineering Essentials
- Principals of Human Services
- Foundations of Business, Technology & Communications
Students enrolled in these classes may lose credit on their 10th absence of a semester. They would have to repeat the course or make up their time to receive credit. For more information go to https://www.tomballisd.net/families/parent-portal/attendance-information.

Dismissal Updates
Dismissal Safety: Pedestrian & Off-Campus Waiting Areas With over 1,750 students dismissing at once—many on bikes and scooters—crowded campus walkways create safety risks for families and students alike, especially if you are coming from a different direction.
- Please do not walk, bike, or ride scooters onto campus to meet your child.
- Kindly wait off-campus at the designated locations marked by the "hands" icon on the attached map.
Thank you for partnering with us to keep our campus safe, organized, and focused on learning. We appreciate your continued support!
