First, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our recent school fundraiser. Your generosity directly powers our school community, providing the funds we need to celebrate student achievements and launch exciting new initiatives throughout the year.

Partnering for Student Success
Strong communication between home and school is key to a successful year. We encourage all parents to utilize our digital tools to keep students accountable and supported:
Academic Progress: With midterms arriving on September 4th, it is critical to log into Infinite Campus to review your child’s grades and check for missing assignments. You can also preview upcoming tests and projects on our Homework Hotline.
Behavior Checks: Historically, September brings our highest number of discipline referrals as middle school routines settle in. Checking your student's discipline logs daily on Infinite Campus helps us address small issues before they grow. As a reminder, after-school detentions are assigned once a student reaches 7 logs in 6th and 7th grade, or 6 logs in 8th grade.

Our school has started using the GoGuardian Parent mode, a mobile app designed to provide parents/guardians insight and control over their student's online activity when on school-managed devices and accounts. First, the GoGuardian Parent app provides an overview of your children's online activity on school-managed devices and accounts - this overview includes the apps, extensions, documents, and websites your student visited. Second, GoGuardian Parent provides you with an additional set of internet controls that you can set for out-of-school hours. GoGuardian Parent was created to help provide students additional educational support and is a companion to the classroom engagement and internet filtering tools that our school uses.
What is included in this app:
Top 5 overview of your student's online activity
Any teacher interventions related to your student's online activity
30-day overview of your student's online activity
Ability to block websites on school-issued devices during out-of-school hours
Ability to pause internet access on school-issued devices during out-of-school hours, either on-demand or at a scheduled time
To access and use the app, please follow the below instructions:
Download the app
After the app is successfully downloaded and installed, open it up and enter the email address registered with the school (the email address you’re reading this message from right now). Note: If you forgot your registered email address, please reach out to your school administrator.
Login/Check Email: Check your email on your phone for a link to log in to the app. Tap the "Verify your email", and it will take you straight to the app. Note: If you don't have access to your email through the device you used to log in, tap on "Login with verification code", and copy and paste or type the verification code from the email into the app.

Beginning this week, footballs and sports balls of any kind will NOT be permitted at Indian Creek sporting events. This policy is in place to help keep our events safe and enjoyable for everyone. Please leave all balls at home when attending athletic events. Thank you for your cooperation and support!
