Weekly Update
October 9, 2025
From the Principal
Dear Families,
It seems as if Fall has finally arrived! With the change in weather, it is important to have layers at school. In the morning it is chilly but warms up by the afternoon. A sweatshirt or light jacket is essential for all students.
This week we participated in the "one million children saying the rosary" for peace in our world program on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. It was wonderful to hear their strong voices lifting up our world in prayer. We gave each student a booklet so they can also say the rosary at home if they choose. All of our prayers are a powerful way to connect to our Lord. Hopefully they shared the experience with you as well.
It is cold and flu season again! We would like to remind you that if your child has a fever, they need to be fever free (without medication) for 24 hours before they can return to school. Also, if you child is going to be absent, please remember to notify the office in the morning. We will gather homework so it can be picked up at the end of the day.
We still have openings in every grade level in the event you know someone that is looking for a change. Please have them go to our website to schedule a visit or contact Mr. Peyton Glawe at peyton.glawe@aquinschools.org or 815-235-3154.
