Catholic Schools Week Kick-Off Celebration at St. Catherine
Please join us as we kick off Catholic Schools Week on Sunday, January 25! We invite our entire St. Catherine community to attend Mass at 11:00 a.m., followed by our Celebration of Learning: Arts at the Heart of Our Community.
After Mass, enjoy light refreshments, view beautiful student artwork presented by Ms. Acosta, and listen to performances by our choir and band, directed by Ms. Jones. Meet our entire faculty as you stroll the hallways of our school and experience all that makes St. Catherine special.
Students are encouraged to wear their uniforms to Mass to show their Tiger pride! They will earn a free dress day on Monday February 2nd if they do so.
Students will have the opportunity to pick up a Tiger Passport after Mass and take their families on a guided journey around our school. Be sure to collect a stamp at each location - completed passports will be entered into a raffle drawing, with winners announced during Monday morning announcements.
This is a trip you won’t want to miss. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Winter MAP Testing
Winter MAP Testing began last week and goes through the first week of February. Makeups will take place throughout the testing period. Students in middle school will take tests in math and science. 3rd-5th grade will take tests in reading, math, and science. 1st-2nd graders will test in reading and math. Data from MAP tests is important for monitoring student progress, assessing growth, and providing instruction that continues to meet individual student needs.
Please help make sure your child gets a good night's rest the night before each test and a filling breakfast that morning. On 2/2, and 2/3 (science), all students will test during a designated testing period from 8:40-9:35am. Please let your child's homeroom teacher know if your child will be absent or late any of these days. 2nd-5th graders will take the reading test at a time designated by their teacher, which will be shared in their newsletters. 1st graders will take their tests at a time chosen by Ms. Beighle, also to be shared in her newsletter.

Beginning today, parents will log their hours directly through the MobileServe platform. Middle school students will start using this platform to record their service hours in Trimester 2.
Action Required: Please review the attached Getting Started Guide for step-by-step instructions on setting up your account and submitting hours. Each family can set-up only 1 account to record their required 40 volunteer hours.
Note: We will no longer accept paper volunteer hour forms. All hours must be submitted through MobileServe.
You can also find the MobileServe login link on our Volunteering page on the school website.
If you have any questions about reporting your family's hours or the MobileServe platform, please contact Amanda or Tali in the office.
