Greetings 8th grade families! Our upcoming 8th grade dance will take place on May 4, 2024, at Cypress Creek Middle School. The cost of the dance is $25.00 on GoFan from April 19th - May 2nd. Students need to be in good academic standing and have less than two level 2 referrals to participate. The 8th grade dance will be catered by Vallartaz Restaurant. Students will be served tacos with rice and beans and flautas with rice and beans. We will have desert from Nothing Bunt Cakes!

CCMS parents, your time, effort, and presence as a volunteer will make a world of a difference in making our 8th grade events successful! We have many opportunities for you to volunteer and be involved on campus. Even if you can only give an hour of your time, every minute makes a positive impact! The Growlers Athletics Ceremony will be taking place on May 20th at 9:00am in the CCMS Gymnasium. This is an invitation only event and all students who receive an invitation will be able to participate in our Hawaiian themed athletic event!

Greetings 8th Grade Families. The 8th grade promotion ceremony will be taking place at Cypress Creek High School on Thursday, May 23rd. Students with last names ending in A-L will participate in the 4:30pm ceremony and students with last names ending in M-Z will participate in the 6:30pm ceremony. If you have any questions please contact the 8th grade Assistant Principal, Felicia Moline.

Students with All A and A/B Honor Roll will be invited to the Semester 2 Howlabration Ceremony where we will recognize all of the student's hard work and dedication this semester. ATTENTION PARENTS OF CURRENT 6TH GRADERS - (7th graders for 2024-2025 school year)

One of the requirements for all 7th graders to attend school is to have the Tdap immunization. Please take your child to your physician or local Health Department for the necessary immunization.

Return the required certificate of immunization (DOH680 form) to the school so we can document it in our records. Submit the documentation as soon as possible to avoid missed class time at the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year.

Cypress Creek Middle School is excited to announce a new partnership with Impact Counseling! Through this collaboration, counseling and group therapy services will be offered to our Coyote students at no cost to families!

As the need grows, these free mental health services will increase to support our students. If you are interested in having your student participate, please complete the two consent forms found below and email them to your child's grade level counselor:

We need your help! Communication has been sent to you reminding you about the Parent’s Bill of Rights Consent Form and emergency contact card needed for every student. Within the communication, links were provided to Parent Portal information and to the Parent Bill of Rights webpage.

It is important to complete these items. Otherwise, most incomplete consents will be viewed as permission granted by the parent or guardian.
