Dear Main Street Families,

Thank you for your incredible support of our students during the Chester Upland School District Spring Concert and our Afterschool Closing Program! Your presence and encouragement helped make these events a resounding success and created lasting memories for our students.

As we head into the final stretch of the school year, please take note of these important upcoming dates and reminders:

⏰ End of Programs

• Our Morning Program concluded today, May 29th.
• Our Afterschool Program ended yesterday, May 28th.

💃 5th Grade District Dance
Our exciting 5th Grade District Dance will take place tonight, Friday, May 29th, from 6:00–9:00 PM. This special celebration includes all 5th grade students across the district.

Please note: Pictures will not be sold, so there is no need to send additional money.

📚 End of the School Year Reminders
We have officially entered the final stretch of the school year! This is our last week of full school days, and the fourth marking period ends this week. Please ensure that all assignments are completed and turned in so students can receive full credit for their hard work.

🎉 Field Day – Thursday, June 5th
Students may dress down for the day and must wear sneakers in order to participate in all activities. We are looking forward to an exciting day filled with teamwork, fun, and school spirit!

🚫 Before & Afterschool Programs Have Ended
Please remember that our before and afterschool programs have concluded for the year.

• Students should not be dropped off before 8:30 AM.
• All students must be picked up by 3:45 PM.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep all students safe. To ensure a smooth flow of traffic, please use the designated drop-off and pick-up procedures and remember that staff supervision is not available before or after these times.

Main Street scholars proudly showcased their talents as they participated in the Chester Upland School District’s Spring Concert. Their hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm were on full display, making the event a memorable celebration of student achievement and creativity.

Main Street students proudly participated in the closing exercises, showcasing their hard work, growth, creativity, and achievements throughout the school year. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to their continued success!

To help keep all students safe, nuts and foods containing nuts are not permitted in school due to student allergies. Parents and guardians, please ensure that students do not bring snacks containing nuts or peanut butter. If your child brings Lunchables or similar packaged meals, kindly remove any items that contain nuts or peanut butter before sending them to school. Your cooperation helps us maintain a safe and healthy environment for all students. Thank you for your understanding.

Great news! Registration is officially open for both the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year and the upcoming 2026–2027 school year for the Chester Upland School District.

Families may complete enrollment using PowerSchool Enrollment for:

• The remainder of the 2025–2026 school year
• The upcoming 2026–2027 school year

Parents of new students or families who have not yet completed registration are encouraged to begin the process as soon as possible.

Parents and Guardians:

Chromebooks or other technological devices are used in class for students to complete assignments and assessments. Students may not download games, wallpapers or participate in video group discussions. Improper use of technology could result in the student losing privileges of using the school's device.

1. Go to cusd.powerschool.com/public or click the link below
2. Click "Create Account" and fill in your information under parent account details
3. Scroll down to "Link Students to Account"
4. Enter your Student's name. Enter your Student's ID number for Access ID. Enter your Student's ID number again for Access Password
5. Repeat to add additional Students
6. Scroll all the way down and Click Enter
7. Check your email from Chester Upland School District for a link to confirm your account. Be sure to check your Junk and/or Spam folder for this email

After you have confirmed your account, you can sign in again and check your student's grade through the website cusd.powerschool.com/public. If you want to download the PowerSchool App, follow the steps below:

1. Search for the PowerSchool app on Apple Store or Google Play
2. Download the App
3. When opening the app, enter District Code: PLLL
4. Sign in using the Username and Password you created

Parents:

Please refrain from making u turns in the car line during dismissal. The safety of our children and parents is of utmost importance to us. We would like to move the cars through the line without any disruptions.
