Dear BPE Families-

As we head into the final stretch of March, we have just 8 days left before Spring Break! Let’s finish the month strong by continuing to work hard, stay focused, and demonstrate what it means to be outstanding Titans each and every day. We are proud of the effort our students are showing and encourage everyone to keep that momentum going through the break. Spring is just around the corner!

Stay in the game Mondays!

Every Monday, starting April 13, for the rest of the school year will be Stay In The Game Mondays! Students and Staff are encouraged to wear your Cleveland Browns gear, orange/brown or if you have a Stay in the Game T-shirt, wear that! Each Monday teachers will nominate one student who consistently demonstrates strong attendacne habits or who has made noteable improvement in their attendance. These students will be entered into a weekly raffle drawing. Thank you for all you do to support positive attendance and attendance improvement.Can no wait to see who our winners will be each Friday!

April 1- PIE/Smeaman/Mullins

Guardians are invited to come to our 2nd grade Informances. The informance will take place in our Auditorium and will give you a glimpse into what their Music class looks like.This informance will show you or "inform" you about what our 2nd graders are doing in their Music Classes weekly. The acitvites and songs you will see may be in different stages of learning: introduced/practiced/reviewed. They focus on singing-listening-playing and moving. They many times incorporate instruments also. They can't wait to show you what they expericence at BPE!

* Please park across the street at the Brook Park Recreation center. All guests will enter through the Right At School Doors and go directly to the Auditorium.

Dear Families of 3rd and 4th Graders,

Be sure to mark your calendars if you have not already for these importatnt State Testing dates. Students wil be testing in the morning on each of these dates. It is important that they attend school on time on these days. Please refrain from scheduling any doctor appointments on these days. They have been working hard all year long and this is their opportunity to "show what they know", their "Celebratoin of Knowledge".

Grade 4:

April 14 and April 15- ELA

April 21 and April 22- Math

Grade 3:

April 16 and April 17- ELA

April 23 and April 24- Math

NEW: Under HB 114, signed in December 2025, children must be five years old by the first day of instruction to enroll in kindergarten.
For the 2026–2027 school year, this means turning five on or before August 24, 2026.

Registration may be completed online or by appointment using the registration kiosk at the Berea Board of Education offices, 390 Fair Street, Berea. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 216-898-8300.

Only the custodial parent or legal guardian may officially enroll a student. The custodial parent or legal guardian must complete the application and provide all required signatures.

An active email address is required to complete registration and to receive important updates throughout the school year.

There are two steps required to complete registration. Please review the Directions and Required Documents for Online Registration to prepare for enrolling your child in Berea City Schools.

LOOK WHAT'S POPPIN' IN THIRD GRADE! B.P.E. Third Graders have embarked on a delicious economic adventure as part of our Social Studies learning. We have spent the past couple months investigating entrepreneurship, goods, services, producers, consumers, and where popcorn comes from. This week, Miss Power’s class and Mrs. Nedoma’s class took orders, bagged popcorn and delivered it to our 4th grade customers. Here are some pictures from our week as well as the schedule to show whom we will be serving next.

POPCORN bags are PRE-ORDERED on Thursdays.

Each bag costs $1.00.

$1.00 is DUE ON THURSDAY

* Popcorn is then popped and delivered on FRIDAY.

**Proceeds are used to replenish supplies as well as donate to charities chosen by students at the end of year.
