We hope to get a full week of learning in this week!

Spread the Love!

It is almost February and we LOVE so many things about Young Elementary! Please complete this form or click on the image to thank a staff member that you LOVE working at Young Elementary.

Valentine Parties will be on Wednesday, February 14th at 9:00AM (5th grade at 9:45). If you plan to attend, complete this form and skip the line at check-in. We will have your visitor badge printed and ready to go. If we have not scanned your ID this year, bring it by and we will scan it before the party.

MAP Testing Dates- Subject to change with Snow Days

We will begin MAP testing starting the week of January 8th. This test is taken three times a year and helps us track growth and pinpoint areas of re-teach or extension. It is very important that your child is here on time (by 7:45) because we begin testing first thing in the morning.

Second and Third will test the week of January 16th (kinder will finish)

Fourth will test the week of January 22nd

Fifth will test the week of January 29th.

Classroom teachers will send out more detailed information.

No AMI Days- State Change for this school year

#SpringdaleFamily,

Just a friendly reminder we are no longer allowed to count AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) days toward the state-required 178 student instruction days. If school is canceled due to a weather event, the day will be added to the end of the school year.

Solo un recordatorio amistoso: ya no podemos contar los días AMI (métodos alternativos de instrucción) para los 178 días de instrucción estudiantil requeridos por el estado. Si la escuela se cancela debido a un evento climático, el día se agregara al final del año escolar.
