Field Day
Field Day will take place on Friday, May 23rd. Mrs. Coleman, PE teacher at Ridgewood, has sent out information to parents via Rooms. Thank you to all the parents who have signed up to volunteer! We appreciate your help. Please remind your child to wear tennis shoes to school. It would also be a great idea to put sunscreen on them in the morning! It's going to be a fun day!
PTO
The Ridgewood PTO Has Officially Launched!
We’re thrilled to share that the Ridgewood Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is up and running! This new group is all about bringing families and staff together to connect, collaborate, and support our incredible school community.
To kick things off, we’re celebrating our launch with a sweet treat!
On Friday, May 23, 2025, during Field Day, every student, staff, and parent volunteer will receive a free popsicle at lunch, courtesy of the PTO—a small way to say hello and start things off on a fun note.
Mark your calendar for our first planning meeting!
Join us on Tuesday, June 3rd at 5:30 PM at the new Starbucks near John Deere Road and 41st Street (Address: 4200 38th Avenue, Moline, IL 61265). We’ll be brainstorming ideas and planning activities for the start of the 2025–26 school year. We’d love your input and energy!
Got questions? Just want to connect? Feel free to reach out to:
Ana Calil, President: acalil@emsd37.org
Audrie Peterson, Vice-President: amwink.87@gmail.com
Sydney Fetters, Secretary: sydney.fetters@gmail.com
Let’s make this the first of many joyful events that bring our community together. Thanks for being part of Ridgewood—we’re excited to grow, give back, and make great memories with you!
