State Conference Notable Notes!
Red Hot Lucky Draw!
The Red Hot Lucky Draw kicks off Closing Ceremonies with a burst of excitement for every chapter who signs up for a conference bundle.
We’ve grown past checking out official-dress red jackets; at this point, we’re all big kids who know the drill and take pride in showing up prepared.
At Closing Ceremonies, we’ll be giving away bundles of gently used red jackets—perfect for any chapter continuing to build their red jacket arsenal for its members' use for years to come.
Must be present to win
Only bundle participants are eligible for the drawing
Winners will be announced live at the start of Closing Ceremonies
It’s a simple way to celebrate commitment, sustainability, and SkillsUSA spirit—plus, who doesn’t love a little suspense to start the show?
Advanced Welding and Welding Fabrication Call Backs!
Similar to last year, once registration closes, we will be calling welding advisors in the order of registration submission if there is room to add more Advanced Individual Welders and/or Welding Fabrication teams. Students must be registered members to register for state conference!
State Conference Community Service Project UPDATED 3/9/2026!!
Big News, Big Hearts - Food and Shoe Drive!
We’re thrilled to announce our Community Service Project — and we need YOUR help to make it amazing! Let’s rally together and collect non-perishable food items and gently used shoes to share with local food pantries and shelters. Every can, box, bag, and shoe pair makes a difference! Donations will be accepted at Check-in on Monday, April 13th. Good shoes: Gently worn, that are used or new, that are in good condition, clean and still wearable. Bad shoes: Used shoes that have soles falling off, broken heels/parts and are no longer wearable.
Wyoming Courtesy Corp - SPOTS STILL OPEN!
We need 6 awesome students to jump in and help out at State on Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14! If you’ve got students who aren’t competing, or who just want to be part of the action for one day or the other — send us an email!
We’re on the hunt for dishwashing heroes in Baking and Culinary at Kelly Walsh.
- Transportation? We’ve got you covered.
- Food? Always delicious.
- Perks? Oh yes — we’re working on some sweet swag for our volunteer crew!
Come for the food, stay for the fun, and leave with bragging rights (and maybe a cookie or two).
CARPENTRY DEMAND!
Our numbers were lower than usual in our carpentry contest last year and the Associated General Contractors are encouraging increased attendance in 2026. Let's make it happen, everyone!
