Greetings Lindblom MSA Eagles,

True learning grows from productive struggle. As we approach the end of Quarter 4, we are calling our community to be better in pursuit of our best: be engaged, be challenged, and be impactful. This is the season where students demonstrate what they know, stretch beyond their comfort zones, and rise to meet rigorous expectations. Our students are leaning in, pursuing growth through summer acceleration, sports, jobs, internships, and global experiences. It is always powerful to witness their determination in the final stretch.

Families, your partnership is essential. Together, we set high expectations while reinforcing healthy routines for rest, balance, and consistent study habits. Proper preparation fosters strong performance, ensuring our Eagles are both supported and stretched.

This mindset is exemplified by our Academic Decathlon team, who model what it means to be leaders, be understanding, be engaged, and be empowered. They committed to mastering complex content while growing as scholars and teammates competing across ten rigorous disciplines. We extend deep gratitude to our senior decathletes for their lasting contributions to our program’s success.

We proudly recognize our national competitors: Alexa Capucin (senior), Alexia Banks and Leah Harris (juniors), and Raychel Billups (sophomore). Special congratulations to Raychel Billups, a Division 5 Scholastic Bronze Medalist and national math award winner as a 10th grader, an extraordinary accomplishment. Our team is energized for what’s ahead.

We also applaud our Academic Decathlon coach, Ms. Soto-Perales, whose expertise, unwavering commitment, and leadership have been instrumental in these achievements.

If you’re interested in joining next year’s team, step forward, take the challenge, and discover just how high you can rise.

Together we rise onward and upward,

Principal Banks

Please join us for the Spring Band Concert on Friday, May 8th at 5:30pm. We strongly encourage all guests to pre-order tickets for quicker entry into Keeler Hall, to minimize lines, and to prevent a late start to the concert.

Guests who pre-order tickets will receive an email confirmation, which will serve as your tickets for entry into Keeler Hall. You will not need to sign in at the admissions table if you pre-order tickets. Please make sure that the number of people in your party matches the number of guests in your confirmation email. Guests who do not pre-order tickets will need to pay with cash only and sign in at the admissions table. Again, we encourage all guests to pre-order tickets for easier, quicker entry into the concert hall. The deadline to pre-order tickets is Tuesday, May 5th. Please note that these entrance fees help to fund our band program's repair, supply, and operational needs.
