Hello QCVA Families,
As we continue our journey together at Queen Creek Virtual Academy, I am inspired daily by the resilience, determination, and growth I see in our students and families. Virtual learning requires focus, perseverance, and strong time-management skills, and our students rise to that challenge by taking ownership of their learning and striving toward their goals. As we move forward, I encourage every student to stay engaged, communicate often with teachers, and take pride in each step of progress—because every completed assignment, every question asked, and every goal met brings you closer to success. Together, we are building not only academic achievement, but the confidence and skills needed for life beyond the classroom.
Warm regards,
Kevin Aikins
Principal, Queen Creek Virtual Academy
Welcome to Semester 2
Welcome back, QCVA students! Whether you are joining the Queen Creek Virtual Academy family for the first time this semester or you are a returning student we’ve missed over the break, we are so glad you’re here. As we kick off the second half of the year, now is the perfect time to start strong by establishing—or refining—the daily routines that keep you organized and motivated. Remember, this is the final leg of our journey together for the 2025–2026 school year. Your facilitators are your biggest advocates, so please reach out to them early and often to ensure you have the support you need to excel.
As you settle into your classes, keep in mind that the next few months will fly by; while it's still a bit away, now is a great time to start keeping state testing on your radar so you feel prepared when the time comes. We encourage you to dive into the Resource Library, where you’ll find a wealth of tools designed to help you stay ahead. This semester is about more than just checking boxes; it’s about exerting your best effort and making yourself proud of what you can achieve. Let’s embrace 2026 as a year of growth, self-improvement, and finishing the school year on a high note. We can't wait to see all the incredible things you will learn!
Graduation Countdown:
Essential Steps for Senior Families
CALLING ALL SENIORS!!! The finish line is in sight! As we approach the end of the 2025-2026 school year, we want to ensure our seniors have a smooth and celebratory transition into their next chapter. From diploma verification due by February 13 to final credit checks and fee clearances, there are several time-sensitive tasks required to ensure your student is ready to walk across the stage. Please take a moment to review the comprehensive checklist, which covers everything from cap and gown orders to rehearsal schedules and transcript requests. CLICK HERE.
Staying organized now will allow you to focus on what matters most: celebrating your student's incredible achievements. We ask that all families check their email regularly for updates and ensure all district forms are completed by the stated deadlines. Thank you for being such an integral part of the Queen Creek Virtual Academy community—we can’t wait to see our graduates shine on May 20!
